Thank you to everyone for visiting my webpage and passing it along to those that might benefit from reaching out to someone.
I have been fortunate enough to have had amazing friends and family who have helped me through recovery from a twenty year eating disorder. From their strength, I became stronger and wanted to reach out “as the girl next door” to other women and their family members as a source of hope and courage.
Cycling and ultra cycling is closely tied to my journey to recovery; before I had some recovery, 24 hour races were one of the only times that I had hours of freedom from the disease. Crossing over into ultra cycling was the next step to getting more days of freedom. Fortunately (and very happily so) I now ride and train just because I can and not because I have to:)
